AACUC Committees
INTERNSHIP
The Internship Committee is responsible for making African-American college students aware of the career opportunities that exist in the credit union movement and provides internship placement for these students. The Committee also acts as a liaison between credit unions and universities to develop a viable internship program among these institutions.

MENTORING/ADF TRIAD
The Mentoring / ADF Triad Committee enhances current efforts within the movement to provide mentoring services to credit unions both inside and outside of the United States.
CHAIRPERSON: Mrs. Helen Godfrey-Smith
MARKETING
The Marketing Committee establishes and maintains the image of the African-American Credit Union Coalition through all communication and media channels.
CHAIRPERSON: Mrs. Sheilah Montgomery
MEMBERSHIP
The Membership Committee's goal is to recruit and maintain dedicated individuals from the credit union movement who, as members, will carry out the mission of the AACUC.
CHAIRPERSON: Ms. Melinda Edmunds
ADVOCACY
The Advocacy Committee is responsible for seeking and/or creating opportunities for AACUC members' perspective to be added to appropriate boards, trade associations, commissions, and targeted legislative and regulatory organizations in a manner that will increase the global credit union movement's strength.

FUNDING DEVELOPMENT
The Funding Development Committee's purpose is to assess the financial needs of the AACUC and to fulfill those needs in a professional, coordinated manner that clearly achieves the formal mission of the AACUC as approved by the Board of Directors.
